Weird fit
I bought these in my usual 27 and they were way too tight (could barely button them), returned them and got a 28 and they were a snug fit but oddly constantly rode down (I'm talking like 3 inches lower than they should be in the crotch and requiring constant hiking)...I figured it might be the 5# quarantine weight I'd gained that was the issue so held onto them...I'm now back to my usual weight (5'7 130#) and they are still a fairly snug fit and still riding down unforch and too late to return.

TIGHT FIT
I was in a rush and stupidly cut off the tags before trying these for the first time. I could tell right away the waist was not going to fit the way I'm used to with other brands. Since it does stretch I was able to get the button closed but unless I lose 10lbs I'm either not wearing these or I will wear them uncomfortably smooshed in at the waist. Positive is they are very solid black.

Love DL1961 but Frustrating
I bought this pair of jeans and the same style, same size in another color, both size 29. The regular denim jeans fit perfectly. When I tried these on, I couldn't even get them on they were so small. Returning for a larger size, but frustrated.

Not lightweight
I am on the hunt for lightweight jeans in a clean dark wash. These are a mid-weight jean, not lightweight. Otherwise good.

Best jeans ever
These are the best jeans I have ever worn (and I have way too many jeans). They are so comfortable and extremely slimming. I never really like the way I look in skinny jeans, but these are so flattering. Most importantly, THEY DON'T STRETCH OUT!! Unlike so many other skinny jeans I have tried, which I often can only get one wear out of before they need washing to get their shape back, these retain their shape so well even after multiple wears. Riker is a true black color, so they can be dressed up nicely also. I have tried one other color so far in Emma but the fit wasn't as great as Riker. Buy these jeans!!

Great pants
The perfect trousers for everyday. They have some lycra so are fitted but comfortable. Can be worn with flat shoes or tucked in boots. Love them! Probably getting them in another color soon.

Quality has gone way down, price up
Disappointed in this purchase. DL1961 had great quality and great price. Didn't mind seeing that the prices were raised but the quality has gone way down. The denim is very thin and feels cheap, so much for its patented stretch material that made them excellent jeans. Sad to see. Love the brand and it fit so great but now it's like Forever 21 or Old Navy denim.

These jeans are very flattering. Best DL style I've found. Curvy girls should not be nervous about buying these.

best black jean on the market
I have literally tried on every black jean there is and i can honestly say this is the BEST black jean on the market. The color does NOT fade at all and the fabric is so soft and perfect. I literally wear these everyday
